As soon as I took the Dyson WashG1 out of the box, I was blown away by how sleek, suave, and slender it was.
After an easy set-up, I was ready to try it out. Immediately, I was impressed by how easy it was to manoeuvre. The four wheels made it move seamlessly around my home, and the handle was comfortable to hold.
As soon as I began to use the Dyson WashG1™, my floors were noticeably cleaner. My hard floors desperately needed a clean, and as soon as I used it, my floors were instantly spotless. The WashG1’s™ power stood out to me, as it made vacuuming so much quicker and didn’t leave a speck behind.
It was only my first try-out after unboxing, but the WashG1™ was so much fun to use that I ended up cleaning the whole floor. I couldn’t believe how fast I’d finished – with my old vacuum, mop and bucket, it takes forever. This saved so much time and energy, especially in a house like mine where the kids are rampant and the dogs never seem to run out of energy. Being able to remove wet and dry dirt makes cleaning so much faster and easier, and getting to do it all on one device is a dream. It also separates the wet and dry dirt, and has a tray for debris, meaning that maintaining it is no hassle at all. Without having to touch the unclean water and the debris (always such a gross part of mopping!), cleaning my floors became so much more hygienic.
The secret to the WashG1’s incredible double cleaning act is in its counter-rotating rollers. Covered in highly absorbent microfibre, they remove wet and dry debris in one go, leaving hard floors sparkling clean.
Powerfully tackles spills, debris and tough stains on hard floors
My house is chaotic at the best of times, managing kids and dogs. When I learned that the Dyson WashG1™ is particularly good at tackling even the most stubborn messes, I was excited to see how it would go. I set the Dyson’s strength to its highest setting and attacked the latest disaster that my family had somehow concocted, and it worked much better than I could have hoped. They’d spilled cereal, and the Dyson WashG1™ managed to clean up the entire mess for me within seconds. Compared to cleaning the calamity up with a mop and bucket, paper towels or a dustpan, it could not have been quicker or easier.
Washes with clean water from start to finish
The Dyson was able to cover my entire bottom floor without having to change the water. It simplified the mopping so dramatically when I didn’t have to refill any water or worry about the dirty water combining with the clean water. My house is mostly made up of hard floors, so having something to smoothly and easily mop my floors without having to stop to refill the clean water tank or empty the dirty water all the time made everything go a lot smoother. It was also a huge help that I never had to worry about the cleanliness of the water, especially compared to the times I’ve used a mop. The separate compartments for the two types of water gave me the peace of mind to keep cleaning, knowing that the water wouldn’t mix and my floors would stay sparkling.
Separates dirty water from dry debris – for hygienic disposal
One of the best parts of the Dyson WashG1™ was being able to dispose of the unclean water and the dry debris without compromising on hygiene. All I had to do was simply tip each container into the sink or bin, and I was done. It also meant that I didn’t have to worry about any excess getting caught anywhere, which is most helpful when you’re always on the go like me.

It’s honestly one of the best hard floor cleaners I’ve ever used. Being able to pick up the Dyson WashG1™ and use it at my leisure without worrying about disposing anything or whether it can manoeuvre a certain way has changed my life.
