Serves: 6–8
Prep time: 10 minutes
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients
1 bottle dry rosé wine, chilled
2 white peaches, thinly sliced
1 pink grapefruit, thinly sliced into half-moons or spirals
1 lime, thinly sliced into rounds
½ cup strawberries, sliced
¼ cup orange liqueur (optional)
½ cup soda water (or sparkling mineral water for extra fizz)
Ice cubes or crushed ice
Fresh mint leaves, to garnish
Method for Rosé and White Nectarine Sangria
1. In a large jug, combine rosé, white peaches, grapefruit, lime, strawberries and orange liqueur (if using). Chill for at least 1 hour to infuse.
2. Just before serving, stir through soda water.
3. Fill glasses with ice – crushed for a lighter, summery look or large cubes for slower melt.
4. Pour over the sangria, making sure each glass gets some fruit.
5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a twist of citrus peel.
Handy Hints for your Rosé and White Nectarine Sangria
- For a softer, fruitier version, use Moscato rosé instead of dry rosé.
- Add edible flowers or rose petals for a festive touch.
- For a non-alcoholic option, replace the wine with sparkling apple or peach juice.
- Serve in tall glasses to show off the layered citrus and mint.
