After her stellar performance in Tokyo, where she won double gold in the 200m and 400m freestyle, Ariarne is poised to repeat her success when she represents her country in Paris.
Ariarne is the favourite to once again surpass US star Katie Ledecky and Canadian teen sensation Summer McIntosh in the 400m freestyle. At the Olympic trials, she also triumphed over her squad mate and reigning world champion Mollie O’Callaghan in the 200m freestyle, breaking the world record in the process.
