Calm Before The Storm Cocktail Recipe

Makes 1

Prep time 10 mins

Ingredients

1 green apple, quartered

1 Lebanese cucumber

1 large mint sprig, plus extra to garnish

45 ml gin (optional)

1½ tsp yuzu juice or ¾ tsp each lemon and lime juice

Ice cubes, to serve

Tonic water, to taste

Method

1. Juice apple, cucumber and mint into a jug. Stir in gin and yuzu juice to combine.

2. Add ice to a glass and pour in gin mixture. Top up with tonic water to taste. Garnish with extra mint sprig to serve.

Makes You Blush Cocktail Recipe

Makes 1

Ingredients

½ cup strawberries, frozen, plus fresh strawberries to garnish

45 ml Aperol

Shaved ice, to serve

Elderflower tonic, to taste

Method

1. Blend strawberries and Aperol to a purée in a blender. Pour into a glass, top with shaved ice, then pour in tonic water to taste. Garnish with a strawberry to serve.

 

Up Beet Cocktail Recipe

Makes 1

Ingredients

½ beetroot, washed, chopped

1 red apple, washed and quartered

2 thyme sprigs, plus extra to garnish

45 ml vodka

Tabasco, to taste

Ice cubes, to serve

Method

1. Juice beetroot, apple and thyme into a jug. Stir in vodka to combine. Add Tabasco to taste.

2. Add ice to a glass, pour over beetroot mixture and garnish with extra thyme to serve.
